While "fly the friendly skies" used to be a motto that had meaning decades past, today it is nothing but an empty advertisement, tarnished by ever mounting complaints of poor service, abuse and ill treatment by airlines and their employees. As consumer complaints continue to rise, service continues to fall with airlines cutting programs, in flight amenities and the basic civility one would expect while traveling.

Often travelers will endure abuse and poor treatment by an airline, failing to take legal action for fear that filing a lawsuit will be an expensive and long drawn-out process. The airlines are counting on this apathy.

Sue the Airlines seeks to educate consumers about Small Claims Court, a fast and easy legal option for appropriate remedy. In addition, we are currently developing an attorney referral service to help those with issues requiring more formal civil action, such as discrimination, disability and negligence lawsuits.

You are not alone in your complaints against the airlines. Sue the Airlines is an online community where consumers can share their stories and progress in filed or pending cases to help others in similar situations.

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to public interest and providing useful information to consumers adversely affected by air travel to seek redress from offending airlines. In addition, Sue the Airlines seeks to advance the rights of the consumer. We provide an avenue to help you voice your frustration over the dwindling quality of airline services, not only to your fellow travelers but Congressman on the Aviation Subcommittee who propose legislation affecting the quality of your air travel. It is our hope and mission to arm travelers with the knowledge necessary to make a stand for your legal rights telling the airline industry enough is enough.
