Either party may file an appeal when the amount exceeds $250 or request a new trial in Superior Court within 30 days of judgment. (Any party who files a claim or counterclaim cannot appeal unless the amount claimed exceeds $1,000).

No equitable relief. Counterclaims for more than $2,500 must be filed separately in the appropriate court. Either party may demand jury trial.
