If either party requests a jury trial or defendant files a compulsory counterclaim exceeding $5,000, case will proceed under regular rules of civil procedure and evidence.

Either party file an appeal for review of law, not facts; to the Court of Appeals within 45 days of judgment. A motion for a new trial must be made within 20 days of judgment.

Prevailing party may be awarded attorney fees up to $100 on judgments greater than $1,000. Jury trial available. Evening and Saturday sessions available.
